A wedding is one of the most important days of your life, and the music is what creates the atmosphere — and what stays with your guests for years after. As a professional musician with 12 years of experience, I bring you the highest level of live music for every stage of your wedding — from a quiet reception, through a moving chuppah, to the joyful moments of dancing.

Every wedding is unique, so my service is always tailored. We meet in advance (in person or via Zoom), go through the event plan together, choose the songs that matter to you, and build a precise playlist. On the wedding day I arrive early, adapt to the atmosphere, and read the crowd in real time.

Stages of the Wedding

Live music for every moment

Every stage has its own atmosphere, and every atmosphere has the music that fits it.

— First stage

Musical Reception

As guests arrive, I play on acoustic guitar or piano a selection of songs that create a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. The repertoire is tailored to the audience and style — Israeli songs, gentle jazz, classic pop or classical pieces. Quiet enough to allow conversation, present enough to create an experience.

— Second stage

Chuppah Music

The chuppah is the most moving moment of the wedding, and music is what amplifies it. I accompany the bride's entrance, the groom, the parents, and the moments of the ceremony with sensitive, precise music. We go through every stage in advance to choose the perfect song for each moment.

— Third stage

Dancing and Celebration

In the joyful part, I adapt to your preferred style — sweeping Hassidic music, Mizrahi hits, pop and English-language songs, or a mix of all. With a rich repertoire and crowd-reading skills, the energy stays high throughout the evening. I can also work alongside a DJ — live musician for reception and chuppah, DJ for the dancing.

What people say

We were looking for someone to add real value to our reception, and Nitai was simply the perfect choice. The music was pleasant, at exactly the right volume so people could converse, yet it still created a magical and moving atmosphere. We got many compliments from guests on the professional performance. Highly recommended!

FAQ

Everything you wanted to know about a wedding musician

Absolutely. I have a rich repertoire of Jewish and Hassidic music, alongside contemporary Israeli, Mizrahi, English-language and pop. I tailor the mix to your audience and the style of the wedding. For religious events I respect all requirements — appropriate dress, tailored repertoire, and any other request.
A live musician creates a personal, intimate experience that a DJ cannot. The music is flexible, adapted to each moment, and shifts with the atmosphere. The visual presence of a live musician also adds a unique aesthetic. Many couples choose a combination — live musician for reception and chuppah, DJ for the dancing portion. I can also collaborate with a DJ at the event, with prior coordination for a seamless transition.
Yes, I commit to availability throughout Israel — from the north to the south. I am based in Jerusalem but perform at venues, event gardens and outdoor locations in every region. Travel costs for distant events are arranged in advance.
I recommend contacting me at least 2–3 months in advance, especially for peak-season weddings (spring and summer). That said, even if the wedding is soon — it is worth checking. Sometimes there are open windows, and I adapt to allow couples to get quality music even on short notice.
Yes, I always hold an introductory meeting (in person or via Zoom) where we go through the wedding plan together, choose the key songs, and align the style. On the wedding day I also arrive early for equipment checks and final coordination with the technical staff.
